Overview
This article explains how to transfer a full receipt from one table to another or merge receipts between tables using the Actions menu in the Cuisine Hub. The feature works for both sent and unsent orders and automatically updates the table information in the system.
Prerequisites
The floor plan is configured and available in the system
Staff have permission to access the Floor Plan
Steps to Transfer a Receipt
Select the table that contains the order you want to transfer.
Tap the Actions option.
Choose Transfer Receipt to transfer the entire receipt.
The Floor Plan will appear on the screen.
Select the destination table where you want to move the receipt
A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click Transfer to confirm.
After confirmation
The receipt will move to the selected table.
The original table will automatically close.
If a customer is assigned, the customer information will also transfer.
The Kitchen Display System (KDS) will automatically update the new table information.
Steps to Merge Receipts / Tables
Users can also merge receipts or tables using the same process. This is useful when two tables want to combine their orders into a single receipt.
Select the table that contains the receipt you want to merge.
Tap the Actions option.
Choose Transfer Receipt.
The Floor Plan will appear.
Select the table that is currently open or in use where the receipt should be merged.
A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click Merge receipt to merge the receipts.
After confirmation
The receipts from both tables will be combined into one order.
Troubleshooting
If the receipt does not move after confirmation, refresh the Cuisine Hub and try the action again.
If the KDS does not reflect the updated table, check that the order was successfully transferred or merged and that the KDS is connected properly.
Ensure the user role has permission to access the Floor Plan and table actions.
