Overview
This article explains how to transfer selected items from one table to another using the Transfer Items feature in Platter POS through the Cuisine Hub. This allows staff to move specific items between tables without affecting the rest of the order.
Prerequisites
Items can be sent or unsent
The destination table must not be locked
Staff have permission to access the Floor Plan
Steps
Open the table that contains the items you want to transfer.
Click Actions.
Select the item(s) you want to transfer.
Select Transfer Items.
If no items are selected, the Transfer Items option will remain disabled.
After clicking Transfer Items, the Floor Plan will appear.
Select the destination table to move the items to.
A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click Transfer to complete the action.
The selected items will be moved to the destination table.
Troubleshooting
If Transfer Items is disabled, ensure at least one item is selected.
Items cannot be transferred to a locked table.
The destination table can already have orders or be empty; both are supported.
