The Delivery Module in Platter POS
Overview
This article explains how to use the Delivery Module in Platter POS to create, manage, and track delivery orders, including support for third-party delivery channels such as Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash.
Prerequisites
Manager or Admin access
Delivery Module permission enabled for the user
Menu and payment methods configured in the system
Steps
Log in to your Platter POS system

Navigate to the Delivery Module from the main menu. (Note: This module will only appear if delivery permissions are assigned to your user role.)
On the Delivery Orders screen, you will see a list of orders:
Open Orders: Orders that are created but not yet completed (Unpaid orders)

Click New Order

Enter order details (Optional) :
Mobile Number
Customer Name
Reference Order Number
Delivery Channel (Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash)
Estimated Time
These fields are optional, but skipping them reduces the clarity of tracking.

Click Take Order

Select items from the menu
Send the order to the kitchen via KDS or Kitchen printer

Click Checkout

Choose payment method:
For normal delivery → Cash, Card, Cheque

For delivery platforms → Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash

12. Click Finalize to complete the order

Reporting Note
Orders from delivery apps like Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash are already paid online
When you select the correct delivery channel during checkout, the system tracks where the sale came from
This helps you clearly see in your reports:
How much sales came from Uber Eats
How much from SkipTheDishes
How much from DoorDash

If you select the wrong payment method, your reports will be wrong
