Overview

This article explains how to customize your Customer Facing Display (CFD) in Platter, including adding your logo and background image to personalize the customer-facing screen.

Prerequisites

• Manager or Admin access

• CFD Configuration enabled in your Platter Back Office

Steps

1. Log in to your Platter Back Office.

2. Navigate to Settings > CFD Configurations

   

3. Upload your Logo.

4. Upload your Background Image.

5. Once uploaded, the changes will automatically appear on your POS CFD within a few seconds.

6. If no photo or logo is uploaded, Platter automatically displays a default image on the CFD, which is already available in the system.

   

7. When we select any item, the CFD displays a real-time view for customers, and the applicable taxes and total amount are shown continuously. When the user proceeds to generate the bill, the screen displays the customer’s complete order details, with item prices, taxes, and the final total always visible.

   

Troubleshooting

• If images do not appear, check your internet connection on the Back Office and POS.

• Try refreshing or reopening the POS app to reload CFD settings.

• Ensure the images were successfully uploaded to the CFD Configurations page.
