Delivery· Connected through Deliverect
SkipTheDishes orders in a POS made in Canada
SkipTheDishes is a Canadian delivery app, and for many restaurants in Western Canada and the Prairies it’s a big share of delivery. Platter brings Skip orders into your POS through Deliverect, using your restaurant’s own Deliverect account, so you can accept or cancel them on the same screen as everything else.

How it works
- Step 1
Connect Skip to Deliverect
SkipTheDishes orders reach Platter through Deliverect. Your restaurant needs its own Deliverect account linked to your Skip store.
- Step 2
Link Deliverect with Platter
Once Deliverect is connected, Skip orders appear in Platter with your Uber Eats and DoorDash orders.
- Step 3
Accept or cancel in Platter
Your team reviews each Skip order and accepts or cancels it from the POS.
- Step 4
Cook, pack and hand off
Accepted orders go to the KDS or Epson kitchen printer and move from Preparing to Ready.
Canadian apps, Canadian POS
Platter is made in Canada for Canadian restaurants, and Skip sits alongside Uber Eats and DoorDash in one order list.
No separate Skip tablet to watch
Skip orders arrive in Platter, so staff don’t have to keep an eye on another device during a rush.
Compare delivery against dine-in
Reports split sales by dine-in, takeout and delivery, so you can see what delivery brings in.
Pricing in Canadian dollars
Delivery is part of the Pro plan at $149 CAD per location per month, with no per-cover fees.
If your restaurant is in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina or Winnipeg, there’s a good chance SkipTheDishes is one of your busiest delivery channels. Skip started in Canada, and it’s strongest in Western Canada and the Prairies. A POS that handles Skip orders properly matters more here than almost anywhere.
Platter receives SkipTheDishes orders through Deliverect. Your restaurant needs its own Deliverect account connected to your Skip store. Orders then arrive in Platter to accept or cancel, right next to Uber Eats, DoorDash, pickup, curbside and phone orders.
Once accepted, Skip orders go to the kitchen like any other ticket. Kitchen profiles mean the bar only sees drinks, and Epson printers can route items by category. Separate delivery prices and channel-based discounts are set in the back office. On the POS dashboard, delivery sales are broken out from dine-in and takeout, so you can track how Skip fits into your week.
