Yes. Platter offers a contract buyout credit for restaurants switching from another POS. Ask us for the details when you book your demo, and bring your current contract so we can look at it with you.

Will I be locked into a new contract?

No. Month-to-month, with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.

Do I have to re-enter my menu myself?

No. Your onboarding specialist sets up your menu, modifiers and taxes from what you send, and walks you through changing it afterwards.

Can I keep my current hardware?

Often, yes. Platter runs on iPad, iPhone and Android devices and works with Epson receipt and kitchen printers and Moneris terminals. We check your hardware during the demo.

What happens to my delivery app orders?

Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes orders come into Platter through Deliverect, so you can stop re-keying orders from separate tablets.

Most of the work happens before launch day, with an onboarding specialist.

1. Send us what you have
Your current menu (an export, a PDF or photos is fine), a recent card processing statement and your contract end date if you have one.
2. We build your set-up
An onboarding specialist enters your menu, modifiers and taxes, draws your floor plan, and sets up staff roles, printers and kitchen routing.
3. Moneris and devices
New to Moneris? We introduce you, and Moneris reviews your merchant account. Already with Moneris? Your terminals can pair with Platter. Subject to Moneris approval.
4. Launch when you are ready
Your account stays in set-up mode while your team practises. You pick the launch day, often a quiet weekday.
