Basic ordering on an iPhone
Overview
Platter POS supports order-taking on iPhone, so staff can take orders at the table. The ordering experience matches the iPad, laid out for a smaller screen.
This article explains how to start an order, browse the menu, add items, send the order and take payment on an iPhone.
Prerequisites
Before placing orders on an iPhone, make sure:
You are logged in and clocked in
Menus, categories and items are set up in the Back Office
Printers or the KDS are set up for sending orders to the kitchen
The device is connected to the internet

To add to an existing order, tap an occupied table (shown in green). Its order opens straight away.
2. Browse Categories and Products

6. Process Payment
Once all items are added:
Tap Checkout on the order.
Choose a payment method, such as Cash, Check or Credit / Debit. Swipe the buttons to see more options. You can also Print the receipt, send a Digital receipt, add a Service charge or Split bill here.

When the bill is paid, tap Finalize to close the table.
